For inside mounting, measure the window opening width and subtract 3/8 inch for proper installation. For example, if the window opening is 40 x 60 1/4, you should order a shade size of 39 5/8 x 60 1/2.

For outside mounting, measure the window size and add 2-6 inches in width and 4-8 inches in height to ensure a perfect fit. For a window size of 40 x 60, order a shade size of 42 x 64.

When fully raised, our Roman shades take up about 1/5 of the shade width. For example, if you ordered a length of 50 inches, the raised length would be approximately 10 inches.
